Destination Management Are you headed to Savannah and need help with your activities, etc.? Planning for a tour group or wedding? Let Jill Smith and her staff meet all you needs for on and off site activities — from the typical to the unique — for the company on a shoestring budget to the company whose philosophy is "the sky is the limit".
Capitalize on Jill's extensive experience planning prime events in Savannah's low country by enjoying the secrets of this city at pre-negotiated rates.
Come to Savannah where Georgia's history had it's start! Considered the "Hostess City of the South," Savannah is rich in history with a charm and beauty all her own. Enjoy the fun along the riverfront, a nine-block plaza facing the Savannah River which offers shops, restaurants, and galleries; spice it up with a scavenger hunt, enjoy a harbor cruise, visit one of the many homes and art museums culminating with mimosas in a homeowners private courtyard; see the places of interest featured in the book and movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
Take an evening horse and carriage tour featuring Savannah's ghosts; go "dolphin watching"; and afterwards have a low country shrimp boil at Fort Pulaski. Don't forget about Fort Jackson, and the Mighty Eighth Air Force museum.

Pleasure
An affordable yet luxurious
accommodation is awaiting you in the old town district where live oaks,
flowering azaleas, and horse-drawn carriages set a tranquil scene.
Surrounding the city squares are beautiful examples of 18th and 19th
century architecture which represent the ambiance of the traditional
South. During the day, visit the Savannah Cotton Exchange or one of four
historic churches whose architecture reminds one of Europe. Several
walking tours are available that introduce you to the city, such as the
Civil War Walk, Historic Homes Stroll and in the evening, is the Old Pub
Walk, where you can raise a mug of libation as you make your way through
the squares. One can also enjoy a tour of the town in a horse-drawn
carriage or in a "streetcar". How about a ferryboat ride down the Savannah
River?
You
could relax and refresh in your room at the beautiful River Street Inn,
with rooms rich in atmosphere and comfort. How about lounging on a French
balcony overlooking the Savannah River? As you enjoy the morning sunshine,
watch for the big ships that pass by from their transoceanic voyages! In
the evening, meander down to the river front where the shops remain open,
cool drinks and seafood are served, and an occasional street performer
singing his tunes. For the longer stay, ask about the Olde Harbour Inn,
complete with kitchens and an innkeeper to meet your needs. Also in the
historic district is the Planters Inn, sitting just off one of the grassy
squares that once served as a meeting place for townsfolk in the 1700's.
Furnished in antiques, service is supreme with evening cocktails!
To experience fine dining, do check out the Pink House, one of
Savannah's finest restaurants, just a short walk from the Planters
Inn.
